The management of Federal University Oye Ekiti (FUOYE) has discredited the circulating cut-off marks for the 2024/2025 UTME, calling them fraudulent and misleading. The university asserts that the cut-off marks being shared online are entirely fake and do not originate from FUOYE.

According to a statement from Mr. Foluso Ogunmodede, the university’s Public Relations Officer, FUOYE has not yet set the cut-off marks for this year’s admissions. He urged candidates and the public to disregard any online information regarding cut-off marks as it is not officially sanctioned by the university.

The university also issued a stern warning to any staff members involved in these deceptive activities, stressing that they must cease such misconduct immediately or face legal consequences.

“FUOYE has been made aware of a false announcement circulating online, claiming to have established cut-off marks for the 2024/2025 UTME screening exercise,” Mr. Ogunmodede stated. “We want to make it clear that FUOYE has not yet determined the cut-off marks for this academic year.”
