FUTO Post-UTME/DE 2024
We’re excited to invite candidates who selected Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO) as their first choice for the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and Direct Entry (DE) to participate in the upcoming Screening Exercise. This article contains all the necessary information regarding the registration process.
Important Dates:
- Application Period: Starts August 1, 2024, and ends August 31, 2024.
FUTO Post-UTME/DE 2024
Eligibility Criteria:
- UTME Candidates: You must have achieved a minimum score of 150 in your 2024 UTME to be considered.
- Direct Entry Candidates: Those with OND, HND, First Degree, or A-Level qualifications in relevant disciplines are eligible to apply.
- Other UTME Candidates: If you didn’t choose FUTO as your first choice but scored at least 150, you may still apply. However, you will need to visit the JAMB website to change your institution to FUTO.
Registration Procedure:
To complete your registration, please follow these steps:
- Visit the University Website
- Navigate to Applications:
- Click on “Prospective Students.”
- Select “Undergraduate.”
- Click on “2024/2025 POST-UTME/Direct Entry Application.”
- Generate Payment Invoice:
- Enter your JAMB Registration Number to create a Payment Invoice with the Remita Retrieval Reference Number (RRR).
- Make Payment:
- Take the invoice to any bank or pay online using your ATM card.
- Complete the Application Form:
- Return to the Application page and re-enter your JAMB Registration Number.
- Fill out the form and accurately enter your O’Level results.
- Confirm all entries and submit your application.
- Print your acknowledgment slip.
- Upload O’Level Credentials:
- Once registered, you will receive a link to upload your O’Level results for screening.
Screening Details:
The 2024/2025 Post-UTME and Direct Entry Screening will be based on verified JAMB scores and your O’LEVEL results, as uploaded on the JAMB (CAPS).
