Rivers State University Post-UTME 2024 Guidelines

Attention all candidates who selected Rivers State University, Nkpolu Oroworukwo, Port Harcourt, as their preferred institution during the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and have received notifications from JAMB: Please take note of the following important information regarding the Post-UTME screening process:

Eligibility Criteria

• Only candidates who selected RSU as their first-choice university are eligible for the screening exercise.
• Candidates must have achieved a minimum score of 190 in the UTME to qualify for the screening process across all faculties at the university.

Academic Requirements:

• Applicants must possess the required five (5) O’Level credit passes as specified in the university’s entry requirements for their chosen faculty or department, as detailed in the JAMB Brochure.
• O’Level results must be uploaded during the registration process. Candidates who are awaiting their O’Level results may still apply but must indicate their status.

Registration Process:

• Registration for the screening exercise must be completed online. Visit the university’s official website at [rsu.edu.ng](http://rsu.edu.ng) to access the registration portal.
• Payments should be made using Interswitch Verve-enabled cards.
• Candidates are advised to utilize the online chat support for assistance and to visit the Information Communication and Technology Centre (ICTC) at Rivers State University for reliable registration and biometric verification.

Screening Exercise Dates:

• The Post-UTME screening will commence on Monday, August 26, 2024, at the ICTC.
• The test slip printed after online registration will provide the specific date, time, and venue for your screening.
• It is crucial to attend the screening at the time indicated on your test slip, as failure to do so will result in disqualification.
• The screening will be conducted at the university’s ICTC. Adhere strictly to the date and time specified on your screening test slip. Latecomers will not be accommodated.
• The registration period for the screening exercise begins on Monday, July 29, 2024, and concludes on Saturday, August 10, 2024.
