Admission to National Diploma Evening and Part-Time Programmes for the 2024/2025 Academic Session

This is to inform the general public especially those interested that The Federal Polytechnic, Ado-Ekiti invites applications from eligible candidates for admission to its National Diploma Evening and Part-Time programmes for the 2024/2025 academic session. These programmes, spanning six semesters, will lead to the award of a National Diploma.

Important Information for Applicants

1. Eligibility Requirements:
   • Candidates who chose The Federal Polytechnic, Ado-Ekiti and scored 140 or higher in the 2024/2025 UTME but did not meet the required aggregate score for their chosen course are eligible to apply.
   • Applicants must have five O’level credits, including English Language and Mathematics, in relevant subjects obtained in no more than two sittings from SSCE, NECO, GCE, or NABTEB.
2. Specific Requirements for NABTEB Holders:
   • For courses in the School of Engineering (SOE) and the School of Agriculture and Agricultural Technology (SAAT), NABTEB (NTC) holders must also possess a core subject from the Trade Related Area (TRA), excluding Bookkeeping, Commerce, Principles of Accounts, or Secretariat Studies. Business-related course applicants can use NABTEB (NBC), though NABTEB Business Certificate (NBC) and NABTEB General Education Certificate (NGC) are not accepted for Engineering courses.
   • NABTEB Technical Certificate (NTC) and NABTEB General Education Certificate (NGC) holders can apply for courses in the School of Agriculture and Agricultural Technology and the School of Science and Computer Studies.
3. O’Level Subject Requirements:
   • Applicants should review the specific O’level subject requirements for their chosen department. This information is available on the 2024/2025 Admission Application Page.
4. UTME Score Requirement:
   • Candidates who scored 140 or higher in the 2024/2025 UTME but did not select The Federal Polytechnic, Ado-Ekiti as their choice institution are also eligible to apply for the Evening and Part-Time Programmes.
5. Document Validity:
   • Note that online O’level results or NABTEB printouts older than 12 months will not be accepted for admission clearance.

FEDPOLY ADO ND EVENING AND PART-TIME PROGRAMMES: Application Procedure

The application process consists of two stages:

Stage 1: JAMB CAPS Platform

1. Visit the nearest JAMB CBT Accredited Centre or JAMB Office.
2. Register with the following details:
   • Valid Email Address
   • Valid Phone Number
   • Payment for the JAMB application and processing fee
3. Obtain your JAMB registration number and admission letter.

Stage 2: Polytechnic Portal

1. Go to the Polytechnic’s website: students.fedpolyado.edu.ng and click on “Application” to generate and print your payment invoice.
2. Select “ND PART-TIME/EVENING” from the PROGRAMME drop-down menu and choose your desired course under the COURSE menu. Enter your personal details and generate the invoice.
3. Pay the application fee of N11,500 at any bank of your choice using the Remita Platform or via debit card (MasterCard, Visa, or Verve) following the instructions on the invoice. Ensure you print the invoice before payment if using a debit card.
4. After payment, return to the School Portal and complete your application form using the RRR number from the payment invoice. Ensure the invoice and RRR are in your name.
5. Carefully review and submit your application form.
6. Print your acknowledgement slip and completed application form for your records.
