Important Update for Prospective Adekunle Ajasin University Students

Hello Future AAUA Students!

We’re excited to announce that registration for the Post-UTME admission screening at Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko (AAUA) is now open! This registration period starts from Monday, August 12, 2024.

Here’s what you need to know:

Who Can Register?

  1. UTME Candidates: If you made AAUA your first choice in the 2024/2025 UTME and scored 160 or above, you’re eligible.
  2. Direct Entry Candidates: If you chose AAUA as your first choice for Direct Entry, you can register.
  3. Change of Institution: If you took the 2024/2025 UTME, scored 160 or above, and want to make AAUA your first choice, you can apply too.

Important Note: If AAUA wasn’t your first choice initially, make sure to change your choice to AAUA on JAMB CAPS before the registration closes.

Registration Details

To register, follow these steps:

  1. Visit the Registration Portal: Go to https://putme.aaua.edu.ng.
  2. Create an Account: Use your valid JAMB registration number and email address.
  3. Email Confirmation: Check your email (including your spam folder) and confirm your address by clicking the link sent to you.
  4. Make Payment: Pay a total of N5,000 (N2,000 for Post-UTME Registration and N3,000 for Portal Access Fee) via E-tranzact.
  5. Complete Your Bio-Data: After payment, fill out your bio-data with accurate information.
  6. Print Your Slip: Make sure to print your bio-data slip for your records.

General Instructions

  • O’Level Results: Upload all your O’Level results correctly. You can use up to two sittings. AAUA accepts WAEC, NECO, and NABTEB results.
  • Direct Entry Requirements: For Direct Entry, AAUA accepts a 1st Degree (Second Class Lower), ND (Upper Credit), HND (Lower Credit), JUPEB (6 Points), and NCE (8 Points).
  • Awaiting Results: If you’re awaiting O’Level results, you can still apply. Just upload your results on the University portal and JAMB CAPS as soon as they’re available.
  • Subject Requirements: Check the admission requirements for your chosen course to ensure you have the right O’Level and UTME subject combinations, including Credit passes in English Language and Mathematics.
  • Form Accuracy: Fill out the online form carefully. Any mistakes might be seen as misrepresentation and could disqualify you.
  • Completion Evidence: Print and keep a copy of the transaction completion for future reference.
  • Online Screening: Participation in the online screening is mandatory for consideration for admission.

Special Notices

  • Registration Start Date: Monday, August 12, 2024.
  • Specific Program Requirements: To apply for Law, you need a minimum UTME score of 250. For Mass Communication, a minimum of 200 is required.
  • Contact Details: Use valid and active email addresses and phone numbers (without DND settings). The University isn’t responsible for missed information due to invalid contact details.
  • Age Requirement: Applicants must be at least 16 years old at the start of the 2024/2025 academic session.
