UI POST-UTME/Direct Entry Admission 2024
Prospective candidates are kindly informed that the University of Ibadan’s admission portal will be available for POST-UTME/Direct Entry Registration from Monday, 29 July 2024 to Saturday, 31 August 2024. It is important to note that there will be no extension of this registration period.
Payment Instructions for UTME and Direct Entry Candidates
To begin the registration process, candidates should log in to the Admission Portal using their JAMB Registration Number (e.g., 202412345678EG) as the username and their surname as the initial password
A portal access fee of N3,000.00 and a screening fee of N2,000.00 should be paid through the Admission Portal in favor of the University of Ibadan.
**Payment Options:**
1. **Card:** Credit/Debit Card Payment using an ATM card
2. **Bank Transfer:** Direct bank account debit via internet banking tools
3. **Bank Branch:** Cash payment at a bank using the print-out from the portal
Candidates are advised to print the payment success receipt.
UI POST-UTME/Direct Entry Admission 2024: Date of Post-UTME
The post-UTME examination will be conducted starting from Monday, 16 September 2024. The specific examination date for each candidate will be communicated in due course.
Candidates are strongly encouraged to provide valid and active email addresses and phone numbers, as the University will not be responsible for any failure to receive information due to invalid contact details.
**Special Notice**
– Candidates who will not be sixteen (16) years of age at the time of admission will not be cleared for admission until the following session.
– For admission into the College of Medicine and Faculty of Pharmacy, candidates must have five (5) credits at one sitting in relevant O/Level subjects. For other programs, candidates presenting two O/Level results must have at least six (6) credits in relevant subjects.
– Please be aware that the University of Ibadan does not accept IJMB and JUPEP qualifications but only WAEC, NECO, Cambridge Advanced Level, NCE, OND, HND, and Degree certificates from recognized institutions for Direct Entry admission.
– Candidates are advised to review the list of matriculating subjects accepted by the University (Click here to view Matriculating Subjects) and to check the UTME combination and O/Level requirements for their chosen courses (Click here to view Regulations).
Additionally, Direct Entry candidates are required to upload their credentials to ugadmissions@stu.ui.edu.ng. Strict adherence to the guidelines provided is strongly advised to ensure successful completion of the online submissions.
